Hello my fellow homies, friends, strangers, and want to be pals of mine!
How are you all this fine November eve? Well, since I am living in Bozeman MT, nearly across the country from most of you, I am just gonna pretend that you all said you are doing GREAT! :)....Hope it is the case!
So, first things first, but, why?! Okay, that is the name of this post as you can see above, but, why is it called but, why? Well, thanks so much for asking; I will now explain: Ever since attending the intellectual facility known as college, we have been encouraged, challenged, or simply driven by unusual situations to ask but, why? Hence (not a commonly used word, so naturally I chose it!), this first post of this blog, Blogging2Brilliance, will address some "but, whys" that I have learned, happened upon, or even fallen over since that momentus college graduation day of Friday the 13th.
IMPORTANT: B,W = But, Why
B,W #1 - But, why is entering the "real world" such a big transition after college? Answer - Because undergraduate years are years like none other (unless you are like me and continue to live the crazy college life!)! These four years provide people like me the opportunity to gain more knowledge of things that actually don't actually matter. For example, it was during one particular eve in college that I invented, nearly patented, and perfected my gummy salad recipe! Yes, I could have been spending my time more intellectually by researching the history of the statistical topic of normal distribution curves, but instead I was testing out my ability for the culinary arts. Truth is, since graduating, I have used neither my gummy salad recipe of deliciousity or perfection nor my knowledge of the statistical topic of normal distributions curves. Such is life buddies.
B,W #2 - But, why does my friend (the author of this blog) who grew up in the New England region now live in Montana of all places? Answer - I am honestly not entirely sure. I still wake up every morning, draw the curtains (not quite the same way Amelia Bedilia did though.....) and ask myself where am I?! While some intellectuals graduate from undergrad and go on to do big things - things like attend Harvard and get a PhD or discover a new drug to help cure people of their addiction for cheeses - I graduated and the biggest thing I did was move to the BIGGEST state I have ever been too! Oh, what can I say, I love it out here and if this is the biggest thing I ever do at least I took the meaning of big literally!
Well friends, this is nearly the conclusion of blog post #1. Please stay tuned for the next one and until then: PEACE OUT!!!!!
